The photos on this page were taken during a Dawg Flight trip down-island to Taichung and Sun Moon Lake November 1969.

Taichung (click here for website) the third largest city in Taiwan, is located on the west-central part of Taiwan about a four drive from Taipei. Taichung is known for its temples and Taiwanese aborigine culture. Scenic Sun Moon Lake (click here) is located east, southeast of Taichung. CCK (Ching Chuan Kang) Air Base is located in Taichung. It was used by the USAF through the 1970s and today is a ROC air base.
